Author & Motivational Speaker
Sara C. Forsberg author of Diamonds on the Garbage
Sara first approached Sam at Red Zest Design to design a book cover for her new book, Diamonds in the Garbage. This was Sara's first book and no brand or marketing had been established. After learning about Sara's story, audience, and goals, Sam created a book cover design that captured the message she was looking to convey visually.
Once the book cover was designed, other branding materials were needed to launch Sara's speaking engagements: a PowerPoint presentation, speaker handouts, promotional posters, bookmarks, website design, business cards, stationery, and social media. |

Small-Business Owner
Paul Diehl, owner of Diehl Project Management
Paul approached Sam needing to start from the ground up for his new business, Diehl Project Management, a commercial building project management company. He needed a look that conveyed reliability, professionalism, and GTD (getting things done). Sam started by creating a logo and logo usage guide and then rolled out matching business cards, stationery, proposal templates, and a website. Because commercial building project management is not a well known profession in his area, Sam created metaphors on his site and presentations that would help him connect with his audiences. For example, the role of project manager is compared to being a master chef in his Joy of Building presentation. This memorable metaphor helped the audience understand how Paul supports business owners and executive directors.
